Artist's Description
At the old and abandoned mountain mining camp, called Independence Mine, along Hatcher Pass in Alaska there are still remnants of a time gone by when men pursued their fortunes by digging for gold in the most hospitable conditions. This is an old sepia version of the mining entrance with a rail car ready to be put to work.
