Description
I took this shot at the annual Oshkosh Airventure in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. This North American P-51was closed up for the night and I was able to get this one shot with the sunset behind it before getting kicked out of the warbird area. If you have never been, EAA Oshkosh Airshow is considered the 8th wonder of the world. For one week, this small regional airport is the worlds busiest airport. Yes, the worlds busiest! Just try and imagine at the peak of aircraft arrival there can be 3 aircraft landing on each on the three runway's at a time. Fathom that, 9 aircraft landing on 3 runways at a time! You will never see that anywhere else in the world! The EAA Airventure is a week long plethora of the worlds most amazing aircraft and the most amazing pilots. You will see aircraft here you will never see anywhere else. It is difficult to comprehend there will be 500,00 people with 9,000 aircraft at this small little airport.
