Description
You might expect to find this scene in Switzerland or perhaps somewhere else in the Alps but this scene is actually located in Alaska along the scenic and beautiful Hatchers Pass. Hatchers pass is a scenic drive outside of Wasilla. Since the elevation changes so much it is not unusual to see very diverse and changing weather. The fog was just rolling into this area and about 10 minutes later visibility was almost down to zero. I actually had to stop on the side of the road as I could not see well enough to move. I was impressed to see such a wonderful array of little tiny cabins in the middle of nowhere, apparently well cared for but completely abandoned or at least not occupied while I was passing through. You just never know what you may find around the corner traveling the remote areas of Alaska.
