Artist's Description

When was the last time you saw a Twin Otter on floats? I captured this rare sight at the annual EAA Oshkosh Airventure in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. The Twin Otter is manufactured by Viking Aircraft in beautiful Sidney, British Columbia. Viking Aircraft has a rich history of building beautiful aircraft starting with the da Havilland Chipmunk. This massive aircraft is powered by two Pratt & Whitney PT6 turbine engines and placed on massive Whippaire floats to enable this aircraft to move people and cargo in areas where there are no runways.

Photography has been a life long passion of mine. I have had a camera in my hands since I was in third grade and even have an antique camera collection with a few dating back to the 1890's. I feel every photograph should tell a story and capture a unique or memorable moment in time.
