Description
My wife and I were driving up the Highwood Pass in Alberta, which is the highest paved road in Canada at 7,238 feet, I stumbled across this herd of Big horn sheep grazing in the hills. I stopped and walked quietly around them as to not startle them and slowly worked my way closer until they didn't feel threatened, layed down in the grass and started to take some shots. As I was taking photos, they slowly walked closer to me until I was able to get a few shots like this. When my wife saw what they were doing she walked up behind me and took pictures of me taking pictures of them! She's a funny girl... When I downloaded these and showed her, she said this reminded her of the movie "The Sound Of Music" and I certainly can see why.
